Directions to Kathleen Nelson Perennials:
1. From New Milford: Take Rt. 7 north from New Milford, pass the Rt. 55 signs in Gaylordsville, cross bridge. Turn right, then take a quick left onto South Kent Road. Go 1 mile, turn right (Long Mt. Rd.). Cross R.R. tracks, turn left. Take next left (Mud Pond Rd.). Nursery on left, about ½ mile.
2. From New York State: Take Rt. 55 East from Wingdale. When Rt. 55 dead-ends on Rt. 7, turn left, cross bridge. Turn right, then take a quick left onto South Kent Road. Go 1 mile, turn right (Long Mt. Rd.). Cross R.R. tracks, turn left. Take next left (Mud Pond Rd.). Nursery on left, about ½ mile.
3. From Kent: Take Rt. 341 east from the traffic light at the intersection of Rts. 7 and 341. Go 6/10 mile. Take right fork onto South Kent Road. Continue a few miles to on-grade R.R. crossing. Continue one more mile, turn left (carefully!) onto Long Mountain Road. Cross R.R. tracks again, turn left. Take next left (Mud Pond Road.) Nursery on left, about ½ mile.
4. From New Preston: From Rt 202 in New Preston, take Rt. 45. At the end of the row of shops, turn left onto New Preston Hill Road. Don't worry if you don't see a road sign. Continue straight up the hill, then down, and beyond. The road name changes several times. Don't worry, just go straight for about 5 miles to the second stop sign. Continue straight about another mile, and take the first left onto Mud Pond Road, which is just beyond a bend and a barn. If you miss it and get to a third stop sign, you have gone 1 mile too far. Follow Mud Pond Road across a narrow bridge. You can't miss it! Ignore house numbers! The nursery is on the right, 600 feet after the bridge.
Note: Mud Pond Road is a narrow road. If you meet somebody in a narrow stretch, you may need to back up to a wider area.
